3 Must-Try Fall Latte Recipes
Fall is officially here, which means the return of sweater weather and pumpkin spice everything. While we love a good Pumpkin Spice Latte as much as the next person, they’re often full of unwanted sugars and unhealthy ingredients.
So to celebrate the season, we created healthier options of our favorite fall-inspired latte’s. Each drink is made with a different BuzzFit Coffee + Protein flavor for an added 10 grams of whey protein to keep you fully energized + charged all day long.
Try out these delicious + nutritious protein coffee recipes that are sure to put you in the autumn-spirit!
PUMPKIN SPICE PROTEIN LATTE
- 1 serving BuzzFit HOT Original Coffee + Protein
- 8 oz water
- 4 tbsp organic pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (warmed)
- 1/2 tsp stevia or sugar of choice
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- dash of pumpkin spice seasoning (optional)
- Heat water in a saucepan until almost boiling. Add in 1 serving of BuzzFit HOT Original Coffee + Protein. Stir well. Reduce heat to low.
- In a blender or shaker bottle, add the pumpkin puree, almond milk, sugar and nutmeg. Blend/shake well, until ingredients are fully mixed.
- Add the pumpkin puree mix to the saucepan and whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a mug. Top with a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin spice seasoning if desired.
CHAI MOCHA PROTEIN LATTE
- 1 serving BuzzFit HOT Mocha Coffee + Protein
- 8 oz water
- 1 chai tea bag
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- dash of cinnamon (optional)
- In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Pour into mug and add chai tea bag. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- While tea is steeping, add the almond milk to the pot and heat over medium-low heat until it begins to warm. Whisk for 30 seconds or use a handheld frother to create a foam. Remove from heat.
- Remove the tea bag from the mug and add in 1 serving of BuzzFit Mocha Coffee + Protein. Stir for 30 seconds.
- Pour foamed milk into the mug and stir. Add a pinch of cinnamon on top if desired.
ICED COLD FOAM VANILLA PROTEIN LATTE
- 1 serving BuzzFit ICED Vanilla Latte Coffee + Protein
- 8 oz cold water
- 1 cup ice
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
- In a shaker bottle, combine 1 serving of BuzzFit ICED Vanilla Latte and water. Shake for 30 seconds or until completely dissolved.
- Fill a glass with ice and pour-in BuzzFit protein coffee. Leave at least 1-2 inches at the top of the glass.
- In a separate cup or bowl, add almond milk and whisk by hand vigorously or use a handheld frother for 30 seconds.
- Pour the cold foam over the top of the iced coffee glass and enjoy!
